The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Ciuvică, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Florin Ciuvică sent off a good shot on target. After 11 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. 12 minutes into the match, Florin Ciuvică notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florin Ciuvică blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After 23 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Florin Ciuvică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Florin Ciuvică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 minutes, Florin Ciuvică made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florin Ciuvică went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Lino Txartiko hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Ciuvică in the 45th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes ABK Black Warriors73 got a freekick which was hit by Lino Txartiko. After 49 minutes, Alex Chicote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the ABK Black Warriors73 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 49th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Mihnea Gârleanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 58th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 65 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Angelo Baciadonne managed to make a qualified save. ABK Black Warriors73's players were relieved. Florin Ciuvică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angelo Baciadonne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Ciuvică in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ABK Black Warriors73's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Baciadonne came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Lino Txartiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Baciadonne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Ciuvică in the 91st minute of the match. Florin Ciuvică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ABK Black Warriors73 booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ABK Black Warriors73.
