After some careless play in the Miau Stars defense, Mario Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agnaldo Sá. The Miau Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agnaldo Sá should have stopped the shot. Agnaldo Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Ismael Tejedor threw the ball into play from the sideline. Miau Stars's Filipe Figueiredo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 27th minute, Mario Fernandino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agnaldo Sá was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Fontirroig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agnaldo Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Miau Stars's goalkeeper Agnaldo Sá, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Ismael Tejedor in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Miau Stars's Nilson Soares. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Dinei Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miau Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinei Carioca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute, Dráuzio Barbosa made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After 84 minutes, Ismael Tejedor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Miau Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Miau Stars booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Tejedor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Fontirroig in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agnaldo Sá saved Miau Stars from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bolivia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
