Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adriano Sciotto kicked off to start the match. In the 7th match minute, Fiume Veneto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Papetti to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Pardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camillo Malatesta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Pardo ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fiume Veneto's Camillo Malatesta. Camillo Malatesta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo Malatesta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Claudio Papetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Camillo Malatesta made a huge save. Camillo Malatesta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 59th minute. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Papetti during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fiume Veneto's Claudio Papetti got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Camillo Malatesta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmondo Urbani hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Urbani, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 85th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Pardo to maneuver through the defense. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 89 minutes, Primitivo Escribano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the Fiume Veneto players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Bruno Rossetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Bruno Rossetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paraguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
