With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Sotresgudo S.A.D.'s Julian Ludwa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wieslaw Wiater in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Pedraza shot from long distance in the 34th minute, but Julio Vera was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 36 minutes into the match, Sotresgudo S.A.D.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Anzhelo Sergev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Anzhelo Sergev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sotresgudo S.A.D. were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
