Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 王翀冰, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that 王翀冰's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in 陕西联合足球俱乐部's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 梅博适 came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曹景升 in the 32nd minute of the match. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. In the 34th minute, 曹景升 sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, 王翀冰 took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. 杨诚天 might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 杨诚天 ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Paulo Reis hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jose Correa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by 宋林川 in the 53 minute of the game. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. 梅博适 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by 陕西联合足球俱乐部's 王翀冰. But to his dismay, 王翀冰 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 64th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 王翀冰 in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 王翀冰 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 王翀冰 in the 74th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, 王翀冰 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After 87 minutes of play Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 87th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Mariano in the 96th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 陕西联合足球俱乐部's 杨诚天. Paulo Reis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 陕西联合足球俱乐部.
