Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Straedelburgh's Karl-Michael Helström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Straedelburgh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Vilas Boas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, USA's Fabian Brown got a free kick in the 5th minute. Richard Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. A hard shot by Cassius Byrne from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Aderbal Santos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Vilas Boas in the 12th minute of play. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Ferrão in the 13th minute of play. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Helström in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Straedelburgh got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Caco Araújo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Straedelburgh's Caco Araújo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Helström in the 20th minute of play. If Sílvio Ferrão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Vilas Boas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aderbal Santos made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Aderbal Santos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Straedelburgh's Aderbal Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Straedelburgh from getting a goal against them. USA were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Straedelburgh's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. Aderbal Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jenson Smith in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Pinheiro in the 35th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aderbal Santos, 1-0. Straedelburgh's Aderbal Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 53 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Zach Harrison. After 57 played minutes Straedelburgh got a freekick which was hit by Richard Pinheiro. Aderbal Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Aderbal Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Straedelburgh's Sílvio Ferrão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Day. That made the score 2-1 after 66 minutes of play. 77 minutes into the match, Straedelburgh's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Aderbal Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Sílvio Ferrão sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Marcos Vilas Boas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Straedelburgh's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Vilas Boas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Khalid Parry in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aderbal Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Straedelburgh's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jenson Smith was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. Straedelburgh's Aderbal Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 92nd minute of play. Straedelburgh's Marcos Vilas Boas got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aderbal Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
