Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Björkqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Björkqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes Here Comes the Hammer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Charles Björkqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Valdir Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when John Eriksson sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, John Eriksson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdir Velloso in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Here Comes the Hammer's Valdir Velloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The long shot by Emil Paulin in the 24th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Valdir Velloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Charles Björkqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. John Erikssons short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Velloso in the 56th minute of play. When Edmund Hansson fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Here Comes the Hammer's protests and gave Edmund Hansson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Edmund Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Valdir Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th match minute, Here Comes the Hammer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Eriksson in the 79th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Eriksson in the 82nd minute of the match. Charles Björkqvist made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Carlinhos Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Carlinhos Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Félix in the 95th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Here Comes the Hammer players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
