Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaapo Velikiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaapo Velikiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pane Boze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. JuSi Malacky's Kaapo Velikiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 17th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pane Boze stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Shearer, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Monty Rogers was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaapo Velikiy saved JuSi Malacky from getting behind. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Shearer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the USA defense, Pane Boze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Rafa Furman replaced Pane Boze. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ant Man was slow to take the kick. During this time JuSi Malacky's players had a chance to rest. If Sam Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Ant Man sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ant Man had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaapo Velikiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 89th minute of play. When Alan Shearer came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the JuSi Malacky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Shearer couldn't finish the play. JuSi Malacky succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though USA had controlled the match.
