Dráusio Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaan Kaa went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Dráusio Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dráusio Mendes went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 26 minutes, Agnaldo Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hannover Football Club and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tymoteusz Sanocki having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Hannover Football Club's Tymoteusz Sanocki. Tymoteusz Sanocki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaan Kaa's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Raul Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaan Kaa made a kick off. Luís Fabiano Tasso got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Agnaldo Cruz. The Hannover Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Hannover Football Club's Kaan Kaa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaan Kaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Kaan Kaa ran back to his position shaking his head. Tymoteusz Sanocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Luís Fabiano Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hannover Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fabiano Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaan Kaa in the 77th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Hannover Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Cícero Cearense. After a rather tough play, Hannover Football Club's Cícero Cearense got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Alan Campos fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Alan Campos a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Hannover Football Club's Kaan Kaa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobo Nores. That made the score 1-6 after 90 minutes of play. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Raul Venegas hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hannover Football Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
