Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Viveque Gonçalves, made in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10th match minute, Carrapichel Angolano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Mendes to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Honduras's attentive Sebastian Villa managed to snatch the ball when Viveque Gonçalves made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Balduíno Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 32 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Carrapichel Angolano's Balduíno Flores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Viveque Gonçalves, made in the 35th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Toni Akwa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Balduíno Flores was relentless in the 41st minute of the game.

The supporters of Honduras booed when Carrapichel Angolano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Lando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Viveque Gonçalves threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Balduíno Flores saved Carrapichel Angolano from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel Angolano's Manoel Linhares got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 74th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balduíno Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Mendes in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Carrapichel Angolano's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balduíno Flores came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute of the game Viveque Gonçalves made a throw-in which Maurício Mendes played forward. Toni Akwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Carrapichel Angolano got a freekick which was hit by Viveque Gonçalves. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balduíno Flores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carrapichel Angolano's Balduíno Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 91st minute of play. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes, Carrapichel Angolano's Maurício Mendes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carrapichel Angolano reached it.
