Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Zgrăbunţa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Semeghin in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 16th minute Eduard Semeghin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Eduard Semeghin in the 33rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jonathan Ferrant's left hand side. After the first half ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Eduard Semeghin made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 62nd minute Remus Vermeşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Vărzaru kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Zgrăbunţa to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosendo Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Vermeşan struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASF BAIA MARE -MM-. Jonathan Ferrant had great luck who in the 85thth minute grab hold of the ball when Remus Vermeşan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
