Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emre Kurtuluş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Gökhan Şen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when KARŞIYAKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eşref Tülün didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the KARŞIYAKA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee showed Furkan Aktan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, KARŞIYAKA's Phillip Hörholdt got a free kick in the 25th minute. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner led to Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Furkan Aktan came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the KARŞIYAKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Furkan Aktan couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shen Xun, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shen Xun made a kick off. With a little luck, KARŞIYAKA's Emre Kurtuluş got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emre Kurtuluş having to interfere. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Furkan Aktan in the 65th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Furkan Aktan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Eliseo Noboa got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match.
