Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cecilio Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Athletic Bostero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mariano Lacasa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cecilio Martinez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 10th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liu Yuan in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 25th minute of play forced Athletic Bostero's goalkeeper Cecilio Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecilio Martinez having to make a save. Athletic Bostero's Cecilio Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 29th minute of play. Cecilio Martinez came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liu Yuan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd minute of play forced Athletic Bostero's goalkeeper Cecilio Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cecilio Martinez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The long shot by Jeremiah James in the 41st minute really tested Thiago Pliego's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cecilio Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavier Figueroa scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cecilio Martinez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Chile were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liu Yuan made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Athletic Bostero's Liu Yuan got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ralph Spaan was slow to take the kick. During this time Athletic Bostero's players had a chance to rest. Athletic Bostero's Jessica Cirio got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Athletic Bostero's Cecilio Martinez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Mariano Lacasa had to leave the field with a concussion. Chile's Julio Aguayo was substituted for Mariano Lacasa. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Athletic Bostero:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chile:s goal. Julio Aguayo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cecilio Martinez. Cecilio Martinez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Cecilio Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Aguayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Garrido during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 91 minutes into the match, Athletic Bostero's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Aguayo came free, but Cecilio Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Julio Aguayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cecilio Martinez. Athletic Bostero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Aguayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
