With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélio Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32ndth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paço Futebol Clube's Hélio Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Paço Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hélio Neto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 40th minute of play forced Paço Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Hélio Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Navarro's late challenge caught a Paço Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Moises Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Hélio Neto to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 95 minutes of play, Paço Futebol Clube's Hermano lago made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
