Egg Chasers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garry Dudgeon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egg Chasers FC's Billy Bedford managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 13 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 15th minute. Lautaro Puig made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alan Moruga immediately put the ball in play. 22 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Stuart Caton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stuart Caton saved Egg Chasers FC from getting behind. Egg Chasers FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Axel Tasis scored to the left of an out of position Stuart Caton, making the score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Stuart Caton in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Abel Carballo in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Egg Chasers FC's Zane Holt. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Egg Chasers FC's Billy Bedford. If Edward Preston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Egg Chasers FC's Abraham Taylor. Hugo Ferrant got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aaron Alcocer. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Ricky Rowe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 61 minutes in the game Garry Dudgeon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ricky Rowe. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Preston in the 63rd minute of play. Egg Chasers FC's Ralf Morcom quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Rubio, made in the 67th minute of the game. Hugo Ferrant made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Egg Chasers FC's Billy Bedford. 74 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Egg Chasers FC's Zane Holt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lautaro Puig made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Egg Chasers FC's Edward Preston. 77 minutes in the game Hugo Ferrant did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lautaro Puig. Stuart Caton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Stuart Caton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 86th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Egg Chasers FC's Billy Bedford. Egg Chasers FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Costa Rica had won, even though Egg Chasers FC had held more of the ball.
