Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) TSV Trudering's Dietrich Beuschlein started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dietrich Beuschlein in the 4th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dietrich Beuschlein in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of TSV Trudering booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Dietrich Beuschlein managed to get in a good position for a shot. TSV Trudering's supporters rose to their feet, but Dietrich Beuschlein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Dietrich Beuschlein came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha in the 16th minute of the match. Dietrich Beuschlein scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christof Seubert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 40thth minute of the game Dietrich Beuschlein who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by TSV Trudering's Dietrich Beuschlein. But to his dismay, Dietrich Beuschlein quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 47th minute. When Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the TSV Trudering fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Dietrich Beuschlein had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dietrich Beuschlein was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christof Seubert's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 55th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dietrich Beuschlein in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Dietrich Beuschlein left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TSV Trudering fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Aaron Alcocer off the ground. After 69 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when TSV Trudering's Dietrich Beuschlein fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a TSV Trudering's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute of the match, Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Juan Rubio off the ground. The audience was convinced that Dietrich Beuschlein's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Lothar Pfirrmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-8 in the 78 minute of play. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Lothar Pfirrmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-9. 93 minutes into the game, TSV Trudering's Felix Kuschel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. In the 96th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the game, Pascal Busch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Pascal Busch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. TSV Trudering's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
