Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İsmail Ataergin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to YENİMUHACIR FK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ali Kağan Akman hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of İsmail Ataergin. YENİMUHACIR FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aral Gençyaz in the 25th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aral Gençyaz in the 28th minute of play. İsmail Ataergin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 29th minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th match minute, YENİMUHACIR FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaffar Kemalettin to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Sarmiento in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İsmail Ataergin saved YENİMUHACIR FK from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ron Peng. In the 43rd minute, Aral Gençyaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Panama were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Ron Peng scored 2-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. YENİMUHACIR FK's Ron Peng got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. İsmail Ataergin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 57th minute of the match. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. After 64 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. Ali Kağan Akman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Barrios during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 2-3 became the score in the 82nd minute when Tomas Berganza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. İsmail Ataergin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. İsmail Ataergin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Panama players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
