Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Urbez. After having played for 5 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Beldad charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Beldad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Beldad kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Urbez got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remigio Joanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Falcke to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Joanes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 minutes, Baldomero Bernard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falckner FC and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Bernard. Bruno Beldad was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Alfonso Lluis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Escobar's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Escobar helped the player get up and apologised. Federico Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half Uruguay were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Urbez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Francisco Seco took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Remigio Joanes to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th minute, Francisco Seco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Remigio Joanes, passed just outside the right post. 61 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Lluis came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Mazuste. If Jonas Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Falcke charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Falcke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaime Cazalla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Remigio Joanes. Falckner FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Remigio Joanes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Seco went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute, Alfonso Lluis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falckner FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Lluis in the 77th minute of the match. Luis Filipo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Carballal to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes, Falckner FC's Silverio Mazuste shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Falckner FC reached it. After 84 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Mazuste. After a defensive mix-up in Falckner FC's zone, Maximiliano Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Joanes came out of the goal and Maximiliano Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Uruguay supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Uruguay would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
