Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute. The supporters of Treviso FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Treviso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Alejandro Iraido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Iraido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Treviso FC's Palben Leciana got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Treviso FC's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Iraido came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Treviso FC's Alejandro Iraido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Iraido having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Iraido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejandro Iraido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonsalvo Cerra's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonsalvo Cerra was slow to take the kick. During this time Treviso FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gonsalvo Cerra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Gonsalvo Cerra kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Txema Avecia hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alejandro Iraido but with some difficulty. In the 79th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonsalvo Cerra in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
