Christof Seubert might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christof Seubert ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lothar Pfirrmann in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Kuschel in the 5th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Christof Seubert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentino Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Zorita skillfully saved the ball. After 15 minutes of play, TSV Trudering's Dietrich Beuschlein made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Dietrich Beuschlein who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the game, TSV Trudering's Dietrich Beuschlein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Karsten Dettke in the 28 minute of the game. A collision led to TSV Trudering getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Kai Emig hit a great ball. If Lothar Pfirrmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dietrich Beuschlein went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dietrich Beuschlein, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Kuschel came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Kai Emig put in a rough tackle. Marco Tamayo's late challenge caught a TSV Trudering's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Tamayo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 49th minute Christof Seubert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha. Felix Kuschel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Christof Seubert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christof Seubert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Frederick Böhmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Carvallo charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jesus Carvallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jesus Carvallo hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christof Seubert in the 77th minute of the match. Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded TSV Trudering left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Salvador.
