Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gunnar Abrahamsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 8 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Dåsens IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Gunnar Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Gunnar Abrahamsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Gunnar Abrahamsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Nordlund came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Gunnar Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Dåsens IF's Per-Åke Aronsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes in the game Jan Hermansson got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Abrahamsson in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 30th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Jan Hermansson shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 31st minute, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 35th minute. Dåsens IF were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Hermansson took the corner. 39 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Abrahamsson came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute of the match Jan Hermansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. In the 53rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. After 54 minutes of play, Dåsens IF's Gunnar Abrahamsson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Abrahamsson came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Abrahamsson in the 64th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Abrahamsson in the 77th minute of play. Jesus Dolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 78th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Hägglund in the 82nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Åke Aronsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Leif Söderqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play, Dåsens IF's Gunnar Abrahamsson made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Dåsens IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
