Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Canal having to make a save. Antonio Canal came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Antonio Canal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Canal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Villawalter City's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Antonio Canal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Villawalter City booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Sebastián Olivarez from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 36th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Canal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elian Benedicto in the 45th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Canal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elian Benedicto to make the kick off. Villawalter City's Antonio Canal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute Coronel Revuelta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elian Benedicto in the 55th minute of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Elian Benedicto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Antonio Canal in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gomesano Cayuela fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villawalter City's protests and gave Gomesano Cayuela a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Villawalter City's Gomesano Cayuela got a free kick in the 67th minute. Villawalter City made a substitution. Waclaw Rosiewicz replaced Arif Gaffar Geylan. Gomesano Cayuela kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Elian Benedicto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elian Benedicto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gomesano Cayuela, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. A collision led to Villawalter City getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gerard Velasco hit a great ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villawalter City's goalkeeper Antonio Canal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Villawalter City's Gerard Velasco got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Antonio Canal in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerard Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerard Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Villawalter City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Antonio Canal. 0-2. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mino Puig in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Elian Benedicto made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
