In the 6th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Low Cost FC's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emiliano Estebe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 14 played minutes Low Cost FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Sanson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 18th minute of play forced Low Cost FC's goalkeeper Julian Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Sergio Silvino fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Low Cost FC's protests and gave Sergio Silvino a yellow card for diving instead. Sergio Silvino hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Low Cost FC's Xinto Veidazar was substituted for Sergio Silvino. The supporters of Mexico booed when Low Cost FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Silvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Low Cost FC's Julian Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Isidor in the 46th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Veremundo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Urdaspal in the 52nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Low Cost FC's Fermin Urdaspal. But to his dismay, Fermin Urdaspal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Julian Elizardo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Elvio Sanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Araoz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Mexico's Joel Gaona tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Julian Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 73rd minute of play. Luca Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Elizardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Luca Zorita fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Julian Elizardo, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Mexico booed when Low Cost FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Isidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Elizardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mexico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
