A collision led to Cracovianos Juniors getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Kacper Figlewski hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bartlomiej Wawro fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cracovianos Juniors's protests and gave Bartlomiej Wawro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cracovianos Juniors's Bartlomiej Wawro got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Paulo Dos Santos saved Cracovianos Juniors from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Paulo Dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cracovianos Juniors's João Paulo Dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 25th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Eugeniusz Dropinski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cracovianos Juniors's Kacper Figlewski got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Paulo Dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. In the 61stth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cracovianos Juniors's João Paulo Dos Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Paulo Dos Santos having to make a save. In the 64th minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Wasyl Maziarski had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. In the 69th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. João Paulo Dos Santos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 73 minute of play. Beniamin Wojno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Honduras eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
