Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Gerald Bradshaw made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The Team FC's Aníbal Lorenzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes The Team FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd match minute, The Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Bradshaw to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in The Team FC's zone, Luz Tejedor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Lorenzi came out of the goal and Luz Tejedor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, The Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Aníbal Lorenzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Team FC's goalie prevented a goal. 46 minutes into the game, Joaquin Prats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Team FC the free kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cao Shi Yi made the kick off in the second half. Aníbal Lorenzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aníbal Lorenzi was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aníbal Lorenzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aníbal Lorenzi stood somewhat misplaced when Julian Murillo came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 62 minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aníbal Lorenzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aníbal Lorenzi had great luck who in the 69thth minute grab hold of the ball when Julian Murillo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 71st minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Team FC's Grant Foote was substituted for Raul Bowen. Aníbal Lorenzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aníbal Lorenzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Aníbal Lorenzi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rafael Gallo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 87 minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, The Team FC's Cao Shi Yi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
