Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ataman Taşcıoğlu started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakan Derim in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Hakan Derim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla. Hakan Derim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özdemir Kutlualp in the 9th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 11th minute of play forced ST Lions FC's goalkeeper Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 minutes, Abraham Alguacil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the ST Lions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Ataman Taşcıoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Miralles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Alguacil to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Ataman Taşcıoğlu took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. In the 35th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman. ST Lions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 40 minutes, Hakan Derim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ST Lions FC and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes into the game, Hakan Derim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Özdemir Kutlualp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Cambeiro in the 66th minute of play. Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Miralles's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 70th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman firmly grabbed it by the left post. Binali Bakır hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Yalçın Zeyni hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Özdemir Kutlualp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Özdemir Kutlualp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Ataman Taşcıoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ST Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick.
