The supporters of TeamSystem booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ayvaz Sezmen. Ayvaz Sezmen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 33rd minute, TeamSystem's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patricio Costa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Ayvaz Sezmen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 70th minute Joshua Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayvaz Sezmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ayvaz Sezmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ayvaz Sezmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Ayvaz Sezmen. TeamSystem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After a rather tough play, TeamSystem's Ahmet Tolga Açar got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Venezuela players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
