In the 27th minute of the match Balus Treter got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elivélton Tavares ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Neşat Beykan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Vilhelm Trulsson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karsten Zielinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gottlieb Hammer to strike the kick off in the second half. Karsten Zielinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gottlieb Hammer in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Balus Treter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Esch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita shot from long distance in the 59th minute, but Karsten Zielinski was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With his leg Karsten Zielinski managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Karsten Zielinski 63 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottlieb Hammer in the 66th minute of the match. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karsten Zielinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Balus Treter's Gottlieb Hammer got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Balus Treter throughout the match.
