Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. When Björn Andberg fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svartvallstjärnens IF's protests and gave Björn Andberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Svartvallstjärnens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Andberg to maneuver through the defense. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Mats Ljusberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jan-Erik Carlsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Carlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulf Säf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Mats Ljusberg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Linus Ahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Erik Carlsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Erik Carlsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Erik Carlsson in the 29th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Carlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrik Hägert kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Mats Ljusberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Carlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ulf Säf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mats Ljusberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mats Ljusberg to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Ljusberg came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Svartvallstjärnens IF were awarded a corner. Björn Andberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Björn Andberg made a great header on Svartvallstjärnens IF's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. After 59 played minutes Svartvallstjärnens IF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Hägert. Linus Ahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 61st minute of the match. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 62nd minute. The corner ended in Jonathan Venegas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Svartvallstjärnens IF's Linus Ahlquist did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Carlsson in the 68th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Jan-Erik Carlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Edvin Lindholm was substituted for Tomas Kvalfält. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Tommy Granberg was substituted for Jan-Erik Carlsson. In the 85th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. If Tommy Granberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Tore Svartström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Ulf Säf got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Granberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 minutes of play, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Ulf Säf made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Svartvallstjärnens IF.
