Karsten Zielinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Karsten Zielinski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 20 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Balus Treter's Milenko Ermentraut quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottlieb Hammer in the 21st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Karsten Zielinski in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karsten Zielinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Gottlieb Hammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karsten Zielinski. Balus Treter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Karsten Zielinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karsten Zielinski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 40th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mexico's Macos Graciani to fire away a dangerous shot which Karsten Zielinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 45th minute, Gottlieb Hammer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balus Treter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottlieb Hammer in the 51st minute of the match. Karsten Zielinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Jacob van der Werff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Balus Treter's Milenko Ermentraut. In the 57th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Zielinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 60th minute of play. Neşat Beykan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Mexico's Alberto Tafalla in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balus Treter's goalie prevented a goal. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karsten Zielinski. In the 69th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense. Gottlieb Hammer in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Lacasa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 76th minute of play.
