The crowd rose to their feet as Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ludwig Schuster. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ludwig Schuster came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaime Pardo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Sanz in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's Sebastian Klimke. During the 32nd minute of the match Sebastian Klimke completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sebastian Klimke a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 35th minute, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ludwig Schuster. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Bockhahn made a kick off. Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Juan Diego Tenorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Diego Tenorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludwig Schuster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludwig Schuster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Jose Sanz made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's Friedrich Uebach. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's goalie prevented a goal. ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's attentive Friedrich Uebach managed to snatch the ball when Jose Sanz made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Paraguay had played much better football throughout.
