Stephan Blanco was slow to take the kick. During this time Victoria's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Stephan Blanco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tommy Cauchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Edmundo Espiga could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Tommy Cauchi however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Victoria's Fabian Testaferrata Abela got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute, Fabian Testaferrata Abela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the game, Victoria's Fredrik Hylander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the last second Tommy Cauchi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Edmundo Espiga in the 43rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Avellino was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 55th minute of play forced Victoria's goalkeeper Tommy Cauchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Victoria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. The corner led Honduras's Edmundo Espiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Cauchi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Emanuel Avellino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Victoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Avellino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 62 in the game by Emanuel Avellino from a close distance when the talented Lautaro Navarro managed to make a qualified save. Honduras's players were relieved. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Emanuel Avellino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nigel Petroni hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Cauchi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Victoria getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Emanuel Avellino hit a great ball. In the 87th minute of the match Milagros Cabal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Cauchi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tommy Cauchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The Honduras supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Victoria's performance. The match ended with a win for Victoria.
