The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but İskender Orbey in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Börje Linquist, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42.
