Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Fabien Barthez made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Damian Stonehouse made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 22 minutes, Peter Crouch made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Egg Chasers FC's Peter Crouch in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Xavier Zoido got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Peter Crouch fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egg Chasers FC's protests and gave Peter Crouch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Crouch to maneuver through the defense. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Stonehouse in the 31st minute of play. Peter Crouch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Crouch's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Damian Stonehouse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Stonehouse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Stonehouse in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Crouch in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Damian Stonehouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Egg Chasers FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. With his leg Jacobo Nores managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Egg Chasers FC's Peter Crouch fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Peter Crouch might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Crouch ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Groom to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Primitivo Escribano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabien Barthez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joel Groom kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. Peter Crouchs short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Jacobo Nores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Damian Stonehouse sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. In the 71st minute, Matthew Brookman made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 75 minutes into the game, Damian Stonehouse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 79 minutes of play, Egg Chasers FC's Matthew Brookman made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Matthew Brookman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Stonehouse during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 minutes, Peter Crouch made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 0-10 became the score in the 91st minute when Damian Stonehouse elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egg Chasers FC the free kick. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Pardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alan Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Rex Wall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Rex Wall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Egg Chasers FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
