Sungurhan Özdek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. ADANA DEMİR SPOR's Kol Atan got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sungurhan Özdek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute Kandemir Tuğcu suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Joshua Secada's late challenge caught a ADANA DEMİR SPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joshua Secada helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Secada. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kol Atan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ADANA DEMİR SPOR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aycan Koç in the 23rd minute. After taking down the ball on ADANA DEMİR SPOR's corner Aycan Koç fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Aktuğ Çoğun came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 30 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aycan Koç who took care of the corner kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! In the 37th minute Aktuğ Çoğun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of play forced ADANA DEMİR SPOR's goalkeeper Sungurhan Özdek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aktuğ Çoğun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ADANA DEMİR SPOR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-2.
In the 55th minute, Kol Atan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Kol Atan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Kol Atan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Kol Atan notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ADANA DEMİR SPOR's Sungurhan Özdek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save ADANA DEMİR SPOR from getting a goal against them. In the 68th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kol Atan went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aktuğ Çoğun in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sungurhan Özdek saved ADANA DEMİR SPOR from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kol Atan in the 76th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aktuğ Çoğun in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Kol Atan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADANA DEMİR SPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kol Atan in the 85th minute of play. Aktuğ Çoğun might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aktuğ Çoğun ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kol Atan's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Kol Atan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that ADANA DEMİR SPOR were the better team. ADANA DEMİR SPOR's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
