After 8 minutes, Denis Mănescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tineretul Arad and the Jamaica players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tineretul Arad getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Denis Mănescu hit a great ball. Romon Oliver struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Daniel Anton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamaica. Felix Negrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tineretul Arad booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romon Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes, Cazimir Maior made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Negrescu came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilian Blăniță in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demonde Jacobson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Blăniță in the 28th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karlus Waugh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Daniel Anton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karlus Waugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Anton having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Emilian Blăniță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tineretul Arad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilian Blăniță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Maior in the 40th minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Valentin Cruceru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tineretul Arad and the Jamaica players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tineretul Arad getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Valentin Cruceru hit a great ball. Jamaica's Finlay Stair shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Daniel Anton but with some difficulty. After the first half Tineretul Arad were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Felix Negrescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Wayan Freeman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Tineretul Arad's Denis Talianu in action when he in the 58th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Felix Negrescu took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Geroy Ascue hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Blăniță came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the game, Finlay Stair cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Daniel Anton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tineretul Arad's Daniel Anton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Stair in the 81st minute of play. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Maior in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Cazimir Maior got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarell Hill hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th match minute, Tineretul Arad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Negrescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 90thth minute of the game Finlay Stair who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tineretul Arad's Daniel Anton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mugurel Gologan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tineretul Arad's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
