Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Mickey Thompson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 4th minute. Daryl Burgess could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 7th match minute, Bristol Bombardiers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jake Hardcastle to maneuver through the defense. Mickey Thompson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Kurt Lobb sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Lobb's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Lobb. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mickey Thompson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickey Thompson having to interfere. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Bristol Bombardiers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mickey Thompson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Lobb to make the kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mickey Thompson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Lobb in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Lobb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Lobb, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustín Saelices during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyrone Howarth hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Lobb in the 70th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Bristol Bombardiers FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daryl Burgess ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Marcus Walton. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manu Louke in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Kurt Lobb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Kurt Lobb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Lobb in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Keanu Quantrill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jake Hardcastle in the 87th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Jake Hardcastle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 minutes, Luis Andino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Bristol Bombardiers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
