Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Célio Leite came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Altamora FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio Leite couldn't finish the play. Altamora FC were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Higino lago took the corner. The corner led Altamora FC's Manuel Azenha to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 13 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Carballar. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Célio Leite in the 17th minute. Joshua Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Amado Valverde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Altamora FC's Célio Leite ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 35th minute Célio Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altamora FC's Tiburcio Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 41st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Rodrigo Leão in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Abram Sarmiento. Tiburcio Liher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 50th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Indiano to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Liher made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Rodrigo Leão made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Orlando Tafalla. Altamora FC's Osvaldo Vasques was substituted for Duarte Garcia. Altamora FC's Nicasio Milian was substituted for Evaristo Cortez. Altamora FC made a substitution. Aleix Vidal replaced Teófilo Estrela. The supporters of Colombia booed when Altamora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Altamora FC's Tiburcio Liher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Altamora FC from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Ignacio Mastache dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tiburcio Liher, 1-1. Abram Secada might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Liher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abram Secada ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiburcio Liher made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Altamora FC's Célio Leite. But to his dismay, Célio Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Amado Valverde's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amado Valverde helped the player get up and apologised. Tiburcio Liher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rodrigo Leão in the 88 minute of the game. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Tiburcio Liher made a huge save. Nicasio Milian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Colombia's Abram Secada looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
