In the 24thth minute of the game Michal Arendarski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 played minutes Abandon All Hope got a freekick which was hit by Artur Marajda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 27th minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Michal Arendarski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Kevin Carballal charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Carballal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jiang Sang Qing during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Abandon All Hope was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jiang Sang Qing to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Arendarski in the 53rd minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Arendarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jaime Cazalla struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Meng Yan Jing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. When Maximiliano Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Escribano couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Francisco Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Arendarski in the 76th minute of play. Lucjan Borczak kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Meng Yan Jing showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dedê de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 81 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. In the 83rd minute, Francisco Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Abandon All Hope was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiang Sang Qing didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute Gilbert Gorzkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Michal Arendarski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abandon All Hope's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Arendarski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Uruguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Abandon All Hope's performance. The match ended with a win for Abandon All Hope.
