Paraguay made a substitution. Marco Romero replaced Hector Covarrubias. Frasier Huber hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Frasier Huber dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores, 2-0. In the 14thth minute of the game Frasier Huber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frasier Huber went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Frasier Huber might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frasier Huber ran back to his position shaking his head. Frasier Huber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Octavius Gräf recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores. Octavius Gräf showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Frasier Huber received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacobo Nores came out and tried to block the shot, but Frasier Huber slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frasier Huber in the 41st minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraguay's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Octavius Gräf 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. Frasier Huber might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frasier Huber ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacobo Nores didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SalentoUnited's Frasier Huber shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frasier Huber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frasier Huber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 57 minutes into the game, SalentoUnited's Frasier Huber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Marco Romero hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. SalentoUnited's Urbano Hotz was substituted for Frasier Huber. Urbano Hotz might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Hotz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Hotz in the 73rd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrice Brechbühl replaced Alexis Veterini. SalentoUnited's Ergincan Suerkan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Sanz in the 77 minute of the game. Urbano Hotz scored 10-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Hotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Urbano Hotz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Urbano Hotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SalentoUnited booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Sanz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 minutes of play, SalentoUnited's Urbano Hotz made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
