With his leg Bartosz Trzenzalski managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when USA's Cassius Byrne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. USA were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Ema City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. José Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match, Monty Rogers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bartosz Trzenzalski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ema City's Bartosz Trzenzalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Ema City's Renaut Vuerinckx seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Renaut Vuerinckx the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ema City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Renaut Vuerinckx had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 41st minute, Renaut Vuerinckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Carneiro made a kick off. José Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 56th minute of play forced Ema City's goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartosz Trzenzalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Ema City's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Bartosz Trzenzalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartosz Trzenzalski came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Cassius Byrne. But to his dismay, Cassius Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Diego Soñora hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ema City made a substitution. Qiu Wei Yan replaced Maciej Parzysz. Bartosz Trzenzalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Ema City booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob May didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 95th minute of play forced Ema City's goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
