Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 15th minute Patrik Skark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alf Björk might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alf Björk ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Björk in the 29th minute of the match. After 30 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aleksandar Ivanov who took care of the corner kick. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel-Enrique Comizzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alf Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Markus Berg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 57th minute Hassan Yusuf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Björk, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Björk in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Blue Angels were awarded a corner. Aleksandar Ivanov went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee showed Patrik Skark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Blue Angels getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Patrik Skark hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blue Angels made a substitution. Robin Söder replaced Oscar Lindström. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Skark in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense.
