Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 11th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angel-Enrique Comizzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Angel-Enrique Comizzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Blue Angels's Oscar Lindström got a free kick in the 16th minute. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Blue Angels's Markus Berg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Blue Angels's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Angel-Enrique Comizzo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Berg in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the Blue Angels defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel-Enrique Comizzo. The Blue Angels fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel-Enrique Comizzo should have stopped the shot. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alf Björk to strike the kick off in the second half. Angel-Enrique Comizzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 55th minute. Angel-Enrique Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Lindström in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angel-Enrique Comizzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 67th minute Alf Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Berg in the 70th minute of the match. Joel Gaona's late challenge caught a Blue Angels's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Gaona helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Joel Gaona got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Berg came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Markus Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goalkeeper Angel-Enrique Comizzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Blue Angels's Robin Söder was substituted for Oscar Lindström. 81 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Blue Angels's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Angel-Enrique Comizzo made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Angel-Enrique Comizzo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mexico's Alberto Tafalla shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-5 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 92nd minute, Markus Berg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
