Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Espiga got the match started through his kick off. Ronny Whieldon got a throw-in 3 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alex Barone. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Brookman, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 16th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense. Fabien Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Stonehouse came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Brookman in the 28th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Peter Crouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Stonehouse scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Stonehouse came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Crouch in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Stonehouse made a kick off. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Matthew Brookman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Damian Stonehouse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Stonehouse during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 56 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Stonehouse came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Lautaro Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Egg Chasers FC's Matthew Brookman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 64 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Stonehouse came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Groom kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When Matthew Brookman came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Egg Chasers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthew Brookman couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Sebastian Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabien Barthez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Brookman in the 75th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Fabien Barthez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. 82 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Stonehouse came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Christian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Egg Chasers FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Egg Chasers FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
