Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alessandro Coscia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Desiderio having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 82nd minute of play forced Casette's goalkeeper Bianco Desiderio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Casette's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Bianco Desiderio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Casette throughout the match.
