In the 18th match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Larsfelt to maneuver through the defense. Jimmie Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Miralles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimmie Eckegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Mario Fernandino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jimmie Eckegren. The goal made the score 4-0. Eduardo Fontirroig charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Helge Bokelund hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Fontirroig came free, but Jimmie Eckegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute of the game Ismael Tejedor made a throw-in which Alfredo Ferrant played forward. Jimmie Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Chicote in the 96th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Fernandino came free, but Jimmie Eckegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bolivia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
