Wy-pas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 17th minute, Wy-pas's Roch Mazierski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 30th minute, Mevlüt Serin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 36 minutes, Ace Ventura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wy-pas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ace Ventura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roch Mazierski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mevlüt Serin in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wincent Cielencki was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Wy-pas were the better team. Wy-pas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
