Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 7 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. 10 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Isidoro Dolfos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Dolfos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Dolfos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isidoro Dolfos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidoro Dolfos. Isidoro Dolfos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Isidoro Dolfos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Almirante Brown booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Segio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Isidoro Dolfos threw himself towards the right post 50 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Juan Sebastián Puig made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Club Almirante Brown's Isidoro Dolfos managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Felix Montenegro put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Isidoro Dolfos. 55 minutes into the game, Oscar Abascal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Almirante Brown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Club Almirante Brown getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Oscar Abascal hit a great ball. Club Almirante Brown's Aristides Rayman was substituted for Wilfredo Segio. In the 57th minute, Oscar Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Dolfos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Daniel Zorita. Isidoro Dolfos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Club Almirante Brown's Guido Bautista got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Club Almirante Brown's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 85 played minutes Ecuador's Daniel Zorita stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Isidoro Dolfos stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Club Almirante Brown of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Guido Bautista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Bautista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Aristides Rayman kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Club Almirante Brown fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
