Chiquinho Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play. Anier Atarratze hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, SupremEs Divor - Ej KM's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Chiquinho Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were furious when Antonio Arias was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Arthur Artacho scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Sancho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by SupremEs Divor - Ej KM's Joachim Österlund. But to his dismay, Joachim Österlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. SupremEs Divor - Ej KM made a substitution. Arnold Stark replaced Joachim Österlund. SupremEs Divor - Ej KM made a substitution. Sonny Wahlnäs replaced Arthur Artacho. SupremEs Divor - Ej KM's Patrick Kluivert was substituted for Edgar Kellberg. 74 minutes into the game, SupremEs Divor - Ej KM's Arnold Stark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnold Stark in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Wahlnäs in the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Chiquinho Romero in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Stark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SupremEs Divor - Ej KM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr in the 87th minute. The corner ended in Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 88 minutes into the game, Laureano Edwardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SupremEs Divor - Ej KM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. 91 minutes into the match, Arnold Stark had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnold Stark was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because SupremEs Divor - Ej KM had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
