The corner ended in Min Son almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Jeronimo Txatxu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeronimo Txatxu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. The supporters of Xv de Piracicaba booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Xv de Piracicaba:s goal. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Xv de Piracicaba's Jeronimo Txatxu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ander Uibomäe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Txatxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Txatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, Xv de Piracicaba's Jeronimo Txatxu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Txatxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Alfredo Rocchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Benedykt Saint had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedykt Saint was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Min Son was slow to take the kick. During this time Xv de Piracicaba's players had a chance to rest. Min Son made a great header on Xv de Piracicaba's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. In the 77th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Xv de Piracicaba's Ander Uibomäe. But to his dismay, Ander Uibomäe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. 84 minutes into the game, Xv de Piracicaba's Alfredo Rocchi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Ramon Menezes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the game, one of Xv de Piracicaba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
